SHIT I CAN'T MAKE UP: Convo between my 7year-old students today

(Names have been altered slightly, just in case.)
Josie: I have a new crusshhhhh
Matt: Me too! On a boy!
Pearl: You're a boy with a crush on a boy?
Matt: Yeah he's really cute.
Pearl: Oh.
(pause for a bit)
Matt: Boys can like boys. I just can't marry him because boys can't marry boys.
Me: Yeah they can. You can marry whoever you want.
Matt: Really?
Josie: YEAH my tia has a wife so now I have a titi and a auntie.
Matt: Okay. Then maybe I'll marry him.
Dave: (from across the room) No you can't you're seven.
(Age was apparently the only foreseeable problem anyone of my elementary schoolers could see with gay marriage. I almost cried out of happiness. If I could have any super power, I would have the ability to eliminate all of the world’s bull shit. Anything that I think is bad for the world would be changed. I would get rid of unwarranted wire tapping. I would fix all economies. I would fix the way the world thinks and works.

In my mind there are only two types of people in this world. 95% of them are the liers, cheaters, thieves, addicts, criminals, politicians, CEO’s, banker’s, walstreet executives, red necks, racists, scum bags, ass holes, jerk offs, dick bag teenagers who think they’re above everyone else, and especially people who discriminate anyone who isn’t part of the 95%. The other 5% are the people that care about the world, people who will help anyone in the world, and people who can’t stand to be oppressed and fight for change. The 5% that help are the ones who should be rewarded, not the 95% and if I had my super power I would fix the unbalanced bull shit that occurs to people who just want to help.
